Looking back at 2005
The Health Education Department (H.E.) was active in health and safety awareness efforts throughout the Delta.
HEALTH FAIRS

Working together with other departments and organizations, H.E. responded to requests for health fairs and/or bike helmet fests in:
- Bethel (Feb., May)
- St. Marys (April, July)
- Holy Cross (March)
- Chuathbaluk (November)
- Tununak (May)

KNOWING IS CARING
The monthly radio program, Knowing Is Caring, invited specialists from various community organizations and YKHC departments to speak to the listening audience on aspects of several health concerns:

FAREWELL...
We bid a poignant farewell to Julia Brown, community health representative, who served Kongiganak and surrounding villages. She retired after 16 years of dedicated service, giving a parting speech during the 2005 Tribal Gathering.
