Customer Service Improvements

For assistance with billing...
Patient Financial Services, also known as the Business Office, Patient Accounts or Accounts Receivable, has created a new office to better serve our customers who need assistance with their billing statements — Hospital, Aeromed, Subregional Clinic, Hostel, Travel, etc.. You can visit us on the third floor of the Community Health Services Building, rm 340, or call the Patient Financial Customer Service Hotline at 907-543-6398 or 1-800-478-3321 Ext. 6398. Our hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.

We encourage patients to present their Insurance Cards at Patient Registration for each of their visits.

New call system and camera at hospital ramp

To assist our patients who need help getting into the hospital, YKHC Construction has installed a new remote call station at the entrance of the main ramp. A camera is connected to a monitor at the customer service desk next to the security office in the hospital.

The call system will allow customers needing assistance up the ramp to contact a YKHC employee for help. There is a sign posted at the bottom of the ramp with numbers to dial for assistance. The numbers contact the customer service desk between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. and the security phone after 5 p.m.
