Villagers celebrate Grand Opening on June 6
It was a splendid day to celebrate new beginnings. Guests from throughout the village of Akiak along with representatives from YKHC’s administration came to tour the new facility, share food and bless the new clinic building.
Following the model of many other new clinic facilities in the YK Delta, the Akiak clinic has exam rooms, a dentistry room, sleep-over quarters, behavioral health office, a pharmacy room, waiting area and an office.
