Sally Hoffman
The Health Education Department staff has increased by one new educator! Please welcome Sally Hoffman to YKHC.
Sally joined the Health Education crew on June 19. She is based in the Aniak Subregional Clinic. Her service area will include the villages of Aniak, Upper Kalskag, Lower Kalskag, Chuathbaluk, Crooked Creek, Red Devil, Sleetmute, Lime Village, and Stony River. As needed, she will be available to YK Delta upon request.
Sally has expressed a desire to learn and to be an asset to her people through her work as a health educator. She brings with her years of experience as a volunteer in the Kuspuk School District, working with both staff and students, and as a certified nurse's assistant at the Aniak SRC. Her comfort level and familiarity with health topics and her interactions in classroom settings are skills she will put into action yet again as a health educator.
