“Stay Healthy, Stay Immunized” says Kusko

Kusko made his debut at the fourth of July parade in Bethel and is traveling around the region spreading the message to “stay healthy and stay immunized.”

Recently, Kusko visited the community of Mtn. Village. Health professionals from Public Health Nursing and YKHC joined together with Mt. Village Health Aides to administer the Varicella vaccine to over 80 children.
Kusko is part of the immunization campaign supported by the YK Immunization Coalition facilitated by Public

Health Nursing and YKHC. The goal is to maintain high immunization rates and promote immunization awareness for parents of children age birth to 35 months.

Would you like Kusko to visit your village?

If interested, contact Robert Filpczak, YKHC’s Immunizations Coordinator at 543-6955 or 1-800-478-3321 ext. 6955.
