Janet greets Placid Panruk John, who seems a bit reluctant to leave the security of his father, Placid John.
Janet Erik named April Health Aide of the Month
Congratulations to Janet Erik of Chefornak for being selected as April's Health Aide of the Month!
Janet demonstrates optimism and compassion, dedicating herself to both the patients she serves and YKHC's mission of excellence.
Janet had the highest rate of completed EPSDT exams for two months. In addition to her high performance, Janet is always available for patients. When on-call, she listens to patients' concerns, takes time to talk to patients on the phone, and even goes in to the clinic as needed to share her knowledge and ideas with co-workers.
Janet was recognized at a special ceremony on April 30 by Chefornak Tribal Council members and YKHC representatives, including Health Services Vice PresidentJack Robert Crow, and Deputy Director of Village Operations Karl Powers.
Please recognize and say thank you to Janet Erik from Chefornak and other amazing YKHC Health Community Aides / Practitioners. Congratulations, Janet!
Health Aides represent the sustainability of health care in the YK Delta. Our life qualities depend on their efforts and willingness to leave family at any hour to serve our communities. Each month, YKHC will award special recognition to an outstanding Health Aide.
