February 2009 Health Aide of the Month

By Theresa Bean, Public Relations

The Yukon-Kuskokwim Health Corporation’s Community Health Aide Program (CHAP) would like to recognize Pauline Simon of Hooper Bay as the February 2009 Health Aide of the Month.

Pauline has gone above and beyond what is expected of her as a Health Aide. Recently, Pauline was responding to emergencies after the clinic had closed, even while she was on PTO. She even volunteered to help with a patient transport to Bethel during her approved time off.

“Pauline is obviously invested and dedicated to her community and takes her job as a Health Aide very seriously,” said Supervisor Instructor Lucy Martin. “She has shown her dedication to her community and her commitment to her patients.”

Pauline is an exemplary employee who is committed to patient-centered excellence, treating all of her patients in a positive and professional manner. The CHAP program acknowledges Pauline for all of her hard work and outstanding work ethic.
