Family Infant Toddler program moves to BNC bulding
YKHC's Family Infant Toddler/Early Childhood Interventionist program recently moved from the Community Health Services Building to the Bethel Native Corporation building Suite 214.
They hosted a community potluck on Friday, November 6 to show off their new digs. A large number of YKHC staff showed up from Village Operations and the Diabetes prevention team to check out the new space.
"Wow, this is just roomy!" said Kim Jung, who attended the potluck. The FIT team all wore their FIT staff t-shirts, popped a few bottles of non-alcoholic fizz to celebrate and are very pleased with their new space.
"The speech and physical therapists who visit have much more space and the atmosphere is much friendlier for our little patients that come through," said Jilda Murchison. The YKHC FIT program recently received the highest rating for their program at the highest review level by meeting all requirements from the State of Alaska Department of Health and Social Services' Performance Plan.
