Timothy Self, RN of the Surgery Department, has successfully completed his course and is now a Certified Gastroenterology Nurse effective May 31st, 2012.
Patients at YKHC will benefit by knowing that Tim has successfully demonstrated an expertise
in GI procedures by passing a 4-hour hand written exam. Testing areas focus on general nursing care, gastroenterologic procedures, patient care interventions, and professional standards and responsibilities.
Tim has a strong desire to improve the quality of patient care and improve the delivery of service to the patients at YKHC.
