YKHC’s WIC Program celebrated Alaska Breastfeeding Week in August in a different way this year. Our Breastfeeding Coordinator Zhi Tai organized a “Baby Crawling Contest.”
The contest consisted of four rounds with a break for participants to ans
wer some fun breastfeeding questions. Eighteen babies showed off their crawling skills as excited parents coached from the sidelines.
Eight-month-old Zendaya Pavila was the grand champion, winning the largest prize.
