ANTHC representative visits Y-K Delta construction sites
On March 30, a representative of the Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium visited three village clinics and a subregional clinic, all under construction by YKHC.

Frank Turner, orginally from Holy Cross, visited the new facilities being built in Scammon Bay, Newtok, Mekoryak and Toksook Bay on behalf of the the Denali Commission, which is funding the construction of these clinics.

Turner said he will make a progress report to the Denali Commission after the visits.

The Commission's mission is to fund health and community facilities in rural Alaska. Funding comes directly from Congress every year. The four sites are only a few of those presently under construction in the YKHC region.

Accompanying Turner were John Guinn, Director of Construction and Planning; Allen Joseph, Public Relations Director; Tom Sharkey, Construction Manager; and David Murray, Projects Director.
