YKHC’s FASD program is within our Behavioral Health Services under the direction of Dr. Terry Tuttle. We are located in the Behavioral Health outpatient area on the first floor of the Community Health Services Building.
Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder is a cluster of birth defects that can result in permanent damage (brain, central nervous system, and physical) to a fetus that is caused by a pregnant mother drinking alcohol. Screening, assessment, diagnosis, case management and follow-up response are provided to children of the Delta (3 – 18 years old) upon referral and qualification. Adults are accepted on a case-by-case basis.
