All items will be sold “as is” and all sales are final. Items will be sold in a variety of ways including: piece by piece (cash & carry), “silent auction” and sealed bid.

Silent auction for large items, such as vehicles and lumber packages will take place on Friday and end at 4:30 PM.

Terms and Rules

Registration  – All individuals  must register as a bidder and retain their bidding card and bidding number. Upon registration they will have to fill in all fields by printing legibly and writing down their contact information on both the Bidder Card & YKHC staff will retain a copy for their filing and tracking purposes.

Cash & Carry –Everyone must register, and retain this bidding card the items they wish to purchase. Individuals who pay with cash are encouraged to remove items on site only if payment is received in full. Bidders who register can keep their registration number for a future auction and/or transactions.

Cashier – Cashier will retain copy of Bidder registration forms and place them in the filing system. Upon check-out, the customer will have a list of items on his/her bidding card for the cashier to calculate a GRAND TOTAL this number should match up with what the customer designated as “sold” via YKHC Runner. Once total is calculated, YKHC cashier will retain a copy of this on file for record keeping purposes.

Runners – YKHC employee volunteers will take tags, mark them and place a colored “SOLD” signs on the items as requested by Bidders. Bidders must fill out their own Bidder Card with Runner to designate the item as sold. When the bidder is ready to check out, they hand in their Bidder Card with the list of items designated, bid price, and quantity sold and sticker color that will be tallied at the Cashier register.

Bidders – are the customers. Upon registration, Bidders will receive a Bidder number. Bidders are encouraged to sign up in advance and can retain a number for their household, business partners, or guest bidders to speed up the registration process. Bidders will have a Bidder Card with a number and a place to track on their own items they wish to purchase.

Designated Bidders – Tribal Councils, household, and business partners, can designate an individual or contractor to bid on their behalf. The fax form for the Designated Bidder noting dollar amount or funds not to exceed should be made clear on this faxed form. This form should be presented in person to Sylvia Arnold on the day of the auction or faxed in advance to Sylvia Arnold at 907-543-6004. Click here to download the pdf form.

Haulers – Haulers are YKHC staff and individuals who will remove or organize “SOLD” items into designated areas so as to remove and separate sold items from those still for sale.

Important Terms: Where Is, As Is form must be signed and filed by all registered BIDDERS and a copy will be retained on file by YKHC.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Silent auction for vehicles closes on Friday at 4:30  p.m. Point of contact is Linda Weisweaver or Jean Simon at 543-6181. Or e-mail . Vehicles are sold as is, where is and there is no implied or express warranty on the vehicle. . Payment must be received by close of business Wednesday September 17th, and vehicles must be moved within 10 days. If payment is not received within the time allowed, the next highest bidder will be awarded the vehicle. If not removed within the 10 days, YKHC will tow at the new owner’s expense.

All sales are final.  There are no returns, exchanges, or refunds.

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.

Paying with cash or cashiers check – will take all cash and cashiers checks.

Paying with personal checks – checks issued $100 and under will be accepted. Driver’s license number is required on the check.

Paying with personal checks in excess of $100 – must go through YKHC Treasury on Monday September 15th, 2014 with Jonica Thomas to issue a final receipt as PAID before close of business. A valid driver’s license number must be provided for large checks. Jonica Thomas is located on the third floor CHSB (“New YK”) in Accounts Receivable. She is only available from 8 a.m.  5 p.m.  Mon/Tues/Wed.
