YKHC's February Health Aide of the Month, Amanda Wise

Congratulations to Amanda Wise, Health Aide of the Month (February) from the village of Lower Kalskag.

Field Supervision coordinator and Health Aide program administrator, Andrea Thomas stated “Amanda shows a lot of dedication to her patients. She stays in the clinic with patients and makes sure they get the care they need. Amanda showed a great deal of patience working alone for about a month in a busy village. She was able to show a lot of restraint from anger and frustration towards anyone who was less than polite or nice.”
Thomas reiterated “The community of Lower Kalskag is blessed to have a Health Aide who demonstrates professionalism and dedication to her work and patients. Amanda welcomes all who need help from her to the clinic and is grateful to her co-workers who are there when she needs them.”

A celebration honoring Amanda was held in the Lower Kalskag clinic on April 11, to celebrate her dedication to providing quality health care services to her community. Thank you Amanda for your commitment to YKHC!
