Have you made the decision to quit tobacco or you are just thinking about it? That’s great.

1. Tell your healthcare provider: If you are thinking of quitting tobacco, tell your healthcare provider at your next appointment or you can come directly to the Nicotine Program office and speak with us. We’re in the hospital next to the Pharmacy window.

2. Get a referral: Your provider will write a referral for you to our program once you ask them and you can set up a meeting with us or have us call you on the phone.

3. Speak with our tobacco counselors: Once you decide to get in the program you will speak with one of our trained counselors to decide when you want to start, discuss the different options to help you quit and what will work best for you.

Follow-up calls

Our counselors will call you to follow up and see how the plan is working for you. Also feel free to call us anytime to give us feedback and let us know how you are doing.

We wish you success in quitting. Enjoy a tobacco free life!
