I’d like to recognize Gloria George (Mt. Village) for helping me with my on-call week. When I needed help, she dropped whatever she was doing to check my patient. I was so thankful she told me I am not alone when I am on call, that whatever calls I get, I don’t need to respond alone and she kept her word.

When I had a call in the middle of the night, I had NO ride to get to the clinic and she woke up in the middle of the night, picked me up with her own vehicle, and stayed with me until the patient was stable to go home. She then drove me back home. I really don’t know what I would do without her. She calms my fears.

When I had a horrible on-call week, it got to the point that I felt, “I can’t take it anymore, this on-call is just too stressing.” But she was the one who told me I can depend on her and she wouldn’t let me down. With her working I feel I can function and not be scared of on-call emergencies by myself. Thank you Gloria!
