Seven Days of Recognition, 365 Days Committed to Safe Care

Patient Safety Awareness Week is a national education and awareness campaign led by National Patient Safety Foundation (NPSF), for improving patient safety at the local level.

YKHC has participated with Patient Safety Awareness Week annually by having an information table in the hospital lobby during the noon hours, Monday through Friday.  At this table we will be offering information sheets on how patients can become more involved in their own health care, providing medication wallet cards, pill organizers, medications syringes for infants, etc.  Stop by and check it out.
