My YKHealth

Ciuniurumauten. Welcome.

The Yukon-Kuskokwim Health Corporation, commonly referred to as YKHC, is a Tribal Organization that administers a comprehensive healthcare delivery system for 58 rural communities in southwest Alaska.

Each of the communities in our service area is home to a federally-recognized Tribe, whose governing council has authorized YKHC to provide health services on behalf of the federal Indian Health Service (IHS).

YKHC’s healthcare delivery system includes community clinics, sub-regional clinics in five of the area’s larger communities, a regional hospital, dental and optometry services, behavioral health services, counseling and treatment for individuals with substance use disorders, health promotion and disease prevention programs, and environmental health services.

Gold Seal Certified

The Yukon-Kuskokwim Health Corporation has earned the Joint Commission's Gold Seal of Approval.

2023 was a busy year at YKHC! Together with tribes, we arranged for providers to spend more than 1,500 days in village clinics, increased childhood immunization rates by 10%, saw an average of 100 customers a day in our Bethel clinic, enrolled nearly 500 people in smoking cessation programs, opened the 109-room Qavartarvik Customer Lodge, and much, much more! There’s more work to do and we are focused on making continued improvements in 2024.

Learn more about what happened in 2023 and the priorities we are working on this year in YKHC’s 2023 Report to the People, out now. Look for it in your post office box and view online at https://www.ykhc.org/story/publications/
