Our Story

About the Yukon-Kuskokwim Delta

In southwest Alaska lies the larger “hub” community of Bethel. As the transportation and service gateway for the region, Bethel is home to our corporate office and flagship healthcare facilities. But our comprehensive, multi-tiered services extend throughout the region. It is a place rich with the charms of small-town life. Filled with both modern and traditional ways of life, the YK Delta will take you beyond what you expect and redefine what you think of Alaska.

About YKHC

We are a non-profit, Tribal Organization that serves as the principal healthcare organization for residents in the Yukon-Kuskokwim Delta. We are a Joint Commission Gold Seal facility that administers community clinics, a regional hospital, dental services, behavioral health services, and more.

We have made an archive of useful resources available in our resource library, including our annual report and The Messenger. The Messenger is published monthly both online and in print as a report to our Tribal Members, customers, and beneficiaries.
