Tribal Unity Gathering XXX

The theme of this years’ gathering is “On our path to calricaraq,” which highlights the importance of honoring our cultural values on our journey towards wellness.
At the annual Tribal Gathering, YKHC offers updates and answers questions about health services and then seeks the input of its tribal delegates on health priorities for the upcoming year.
YKHC hosts two tribal delegates from each tribe to travel, arranging their travel to Bethel for this event. All tribes in the YKHC service area are encouraged to send delegates to represent their tribe at the important event.

Registration and travel
REGISTRATION FOR TRIBAL GATHERING 2026 IS CLOSED.
Due to the logistics of travel, we are not able to accept late registration or substitution of delegates after Feb. 2, 2026.
Registered delegates will receive travel itineraries at the email used during registration no later than Feb. 17, 2026.

Travel Details
- The meeting will be held in the Blueberry Conference room in the Yukon-Kuskokwim Delta Regional Hospital in Bethel, Wednesday and Thursday, Feb. 25-26, 2026.
- YKHC will arrange for the two delegates from each tribe, nominated by their Tribal Council, to fly from their home village in the YK region to Bethel on Tuesday, Feb. 24, and return to their home village after the meeting.
- Lodging will be provided at the Qavartarvik Customer Lodge. Please note we will not be able to offer lodging for individuals who are under temporary or permanent ban at the Lodge.
- Travel information will be sent to the email address provided during registration at least 7 days in advance of the start of the gathering.
- Per diems will be provided to delegates at check-in on the first day and at the end of the meeting on the second day.
- Breakfast and lunch will be provided both days of the gathering. An optional dinner will be served on the first evening. Delegates will be responsible for remaining meals while in Bethel.
- Delegates will be responsible for arranging their own transportation while in Bethel, including to/from lodging, and the airport.
