The Yukon-Kuskokwim Health Corporation is in the process of identifying and selecting its next permanent President & CEO. Last month, we hired a consulting firm, Pearl Meyer, to assist us in identifying and assessing qualified candidates to ensure we select a leader who will successfully lead YKHC into the future.
Pearl Meyer specializes in CEO succession and executive assessment with experience helping both large and small organizations navigate the CEO succession process. Importantly, they have experience working with Alaskan organizations in similar situations.
Pearl Meyer has helped us develop a thoughtful process which we will follow over the next several months to confidently choose an exceptional leader for our health organization. At a high level, that process includes soliciting qualified applicants, thoroughly assessing candidates, and final selection by the YKHC Board of Directors. We expect this process to take 3-6 months.
