Following new guidance from the CDC, YKHC is now changing it’s quarantine guidance for vaccinated individuals. Vaccinated persons with an exposure to someone with a suspected or confirmed case of COVID-19 are not required to quarantine if they meet all of the following criteria:
- They are fully vaccinated (greater than two weeks following receipt of the second dose in a two dose series).
- Are within three months following the last dose in the series.
- Have remained asymptomatic since the exposure.
- Targeted testing will still be performed for exposed person in accordance with YKHC guidance.
