Surge Planning at YKHC

For several weeks, YKHC has actively been preparing our staff and facilities for COVID-19.

Our staff have ran through drills for treating potential COVID-19 patients and YKHC has provided regular education on our website.

YKHC has also drastically expanded our surge capacity. As of March 30, our hospital has expanded our inpatient capacity to 45. Further, we have added eight beds dedicated for higher acuity patients.

YKHC continues to work with our community and government partners to prepare external care sites that will be ready to be activated if needed.
